The computer cannot reach the ELF loader
Low risk✓ ProvenWhat you see
- Sending a payload over the network fails, even with the autoloader open.
What it means
The PS5 WebKit Autoloader does not always open its ELF loader to the network. Its v0.3.0 release notes say it switched to a localhost-only elfldr, which accepts payloads only from the console itself, to stop unwanted payloads from running over the network. The same notes say a network-facing elfldr can still be used through Payload Manager or a custom autoload.txt.
What to do
Check if your build uses a localhost-only elfldr
Read the release notes for your version. If its elfldr is localhost-only, a computer on your network cannot send to it.
Use a delivery method the project provides
The release notes point to Payload Manager or a custom autoload.txt for a network-facing elfldr. Use one of these, set up on purpose.
As a check, confirm the IP, the service and the local connection
Check the console's IP, that the service you are sending to is running, and that the computer and the PS5 are on the same local network.
When to stop
Keep the loader on your local network
Do not expose the loader to the internet to fix a local network problem.
