A payload does not support the same firmware as the exploit
Medium risk~ ReportedWhat you see
- The exploit finishes, then the next ELF fails or shuts the system down.
What it means
This is about HEN and other payloads. An exploit that works on your firmware does not mean every payload does: each ELF has its own firmware support. This needs checking for each payload and firmware, and it is not confirmed for every console.
What to do
Check each ELF's support in its release notes
Source: etaHEN releases (official) ↗Tell official releases apart from experimental ports
For example, a community port of etaHEN says on its releases page that it is unofficial and not an official etaHEN release, and some of its builds are marked experimental.
As a check, load only the components you need first
Add optional services only after that works.
When to stop
An unofficial port is not the official project
Support announced by an unofficial port should not be credited to the official project.
