Payload Manager shows pldmgr not running
Low risk~ ReportedWhat you see
- The Payload Manager page opens, but it shows "pldmgr not running" and the service does not respond.
What it means
A user of the PS5 WebKit Autoloader (0.6 series) reported that, after waking a PS5 Pro on 13.40 from rest mode, Payload Manager showed pldmgr not running. The developer replied in the same thread. This is one report, not confirmed for every console or firmware.
Users also report losing access to Payload Manager after changing its settings, a blank page, or a page stuck on Loading autoload settings. No single cause has been proven for these.
What to do
Check the console's IP address and open the manager from another device
The Payload Manager README says its web interface can be used from your PC, your phone or the PS5 itself. Check the console's current IP address, then try opening the interface from a PC or phone on the same network.

- Network
- View Connection Status
Turn the network connection off and on in the PS5 settings
The developer replied that this should make Payload Manager restore its web server.
If that does not work, restart and run the chain again
The user who reported it restarted the console and ran the autoloader again, and it worked. Write down what you did, so the problem can be reproduced and reported.
If you still cannot reach it, load pldmgr.elf manually
The README says you can load the manager manually like any other .elf file. Restart the console and send pldmgr.elf through your loader.
Test with a minimal autoload
The Y2JB Autoloader README says that if no autoload.txt is found, the autoloader starts Payload Manager. If you use autoload.txt, Payload Manager only starts when pldmgr.elf is listed in it. For this test, keep only pldmgr.elf in the list. Save a copy of your settings before you change them.
When to stop
A recovery attempt, not a sure fix
Treat this as a recovery attempt, not a fix confirmed for everyone. A blank page or a page stuck on Loading autoload settings has no single proven cause. Do not delete random folders to try to reset the manager.
