How to send payloads
Send payloads to the PS5 from your computer or phone after running the exploit.
Jailbreak required
You need to have run the exploit successfully before sending payloads. Follow the jailbreak tutorial first.
What is a payload?
A payload is a small binary that runs on the PS5 after the exploit opens a way in. Some exploit pages send the payload automatically. Others leave the console listening on a network port so you can send a payload from your computer or phone.
How to send a payload
Run the exploit
After the exploit runs, the console may show a message saying it is waiting for a payload, or it may display the IP address and port to connect to.
Find the console's IP address
If it is not shown on screen, go to:
- Settings
- Network
- View Connection Status
Note the IPv4 address (e.g. 192.168.1.100).
Send the payload from your computer
Use a payload sender tool on your computer. Point it to the console's IP and the port shown on screen (usually 9020 or 9021). Select the payload file and send it.
On Linux or macOS, you can also use netcat:
nc <console-ip> 9020 < payload.bin
Confirm it ran
If the payload ran successfully, you will see a notification or a change on screen. If nothing happens, try sending it again — some payloads take a few seconds.
Only use trusted payloads
A payload has full access to the system. Never send a payload from an untrusted source. Only use payloads from reviewed repositories.
